GREETINGS FROM DOUGLAS R. KENNEDY

Well hello! I’m so glad you decided to stop by. Come on in (mind your head). I want you to enjoy yourself. I want you to be comfortable. Am I comfortable? Eh, I make a decent living. Say, If you happen to be a little bit hungry – no problem. Grab yourself a snack. Myself, I’m partial to cheese and crackers. But don’t get caught up in the food and forget to come back. On second thought, forget about eating, just stay here, maybe take a look at one of my short stories….My Very Best To You For a Successful 2008 ~ dUgE

WHO IS DOUGLAS R. KENNEDY?

Who is Douglas R. Kennedy? Is he an idiot, or is he just an "every-man" who enjoys Nabisco snack wafers right out of the box? Does he think great thoughts, or does he think that playing a game of Lawn Jarts with blind children is a "really good idea"?.... Perhaps, just perhaps, Douglas R. Kennedy is a little bit more. Perhaps he enjoys old monster movies, 1970's TV shows, and John Cassavetes films. Digging deeper, perhaps he is a musician who was once in the band Isle Of Q on Universal Records. Why, maybe these days he even plays guitar for world renown musician Kasim Sulton (of Todd Rundgren/Utopia/Meat Loaf/The New Cars-fame). Maybe he's all of these things AND he's an idiot (this is highly likely). To get to the bottom of this, you are invited to plunge into this website. Then, and only then, will you find out why critics are calling Douglas R. Kennedy "The Feel Good Hit Of The Summer".

News
8/23/08...SATURDAY...Hello, and welcome to another exciting and insightful news update. My name is Douglas R. Kennedy and here now the news. I’d like to start off with a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT. I’d like to, but I don’t have one. Shit!.....My website is now in glorious 3-D! That’s right, if you don’t have your trusty pair of 3-D glasses, you’ll only be seeing this website in…in…1/2–D. Let’s move on…..This morning I went to open my window and was SHOCKED to find a GIANT preying mantis just outside on the outer sill. What was he doing out there at 6:30am? I think he was digesting the neighbor’s toddler whom he ate for supper. This thing was really big. Actually, I should say “IS really big”, ‘cause he’s still out there! I just checked and sure enough, he hasn’t moved a muscle in the last two hours. He’s just sitting there looking out over the street, sidewalk, and trees. Waiting, with the patience of all eternity, for the chance to kill again…. But seriously, I kid the preying mantis. He seems like an alright guy. In fact, I've named him "Manty"……My girlfriend and I saw The Dark Knight a couple of weeks ago. I loved it for the first hour and twenty minutes or so, then I kept looking at my watch. Too long and too repetitive for me. I wonder if Manty would have enjoyed it? It’s hard to say. I don’t know him very well yet….All The Best For a Great Rest Of Your Summer…lUv ~ dUgE
